Found the evaporator coil completely iced over. Defrost cycle not operating properly. Steamed ice off of evaporator put system in forced defrost. Defrost heater is working properly. Issue is either control board related or defrost sensor. Also set unit in standard eight hour defrost cycle ; ordrng 1 W11224256 (Control board) and 1 W11224591 (Evap motor)

Kirby called that he was on his way to our house. He arrived and got right to work on our dryer. Heat element was bad, and he had a OEM Whirlpool part on his truck. He fixed it in a timely manner, and was on his way to the next appointment. A all around nice guy, and a good experience for us.
