"Inspected unit and ran several test cycles. This unit is a ventless heater/compressor system and designed to be in high-rises or areas where the unit cannot be vented. Tested the heating element, Compressor and drain and they all functioned properly. Removed the filters and made sure the drain pump area was empty and clear of any lint or debris. Found the drain hose behind the unit and not installed into a sink or drain. Advised the customer this unit is not designed to run as efficient as other units and the hose to be run to a drain line somewhere for it to drain in order for it to function properly. All checks ok."

"Unit is 5 years old. Customer states that the unit wont complete a cycle. Checked control for error codes. It has F8E1 error stored. This is a no flil/long fill error. This will keep the unit from advancing and washing properly. When tech arrived the drain hose was routed on the floor. With the hose on the floor the unit will gravity drain the water out. The drain pump does not have a check valve to prevent this. The hose needs to be above the wash tub to prevent this. This will cause the no fill/long fill error. This will cause washing issues as well. The drain hose appears to have been draining into a sink but that sink is clogged. Hose was moved to allow it to drain. Secured drain hose above the tub level, calibrated the control, and ran to test. Unit is operating as it should. All ok."
