"Checked out the unit and found the flame patterns were inconsistent on the range and cleaned the burner heads and adjusted the flame pattern. Also had to fix two of the gas lines on the bottom side of the cooktop due to them slowly leaking. After running our test, there were no more leaks. Checked unit found unit would not drain. Cleared out drain screen area found debris inside drain pump. Debris was causing drain pump to lock up. Drain pump has been shorted out due to debris down inside of the drain pump. Unit needs new drain pump. Spoke with American home shieldand they do not consider this normal. Wear and tear will not cover the cost to replace the drain pump.
