"Inspected the range and noticed that the power cord running to the box and also the box itself has some exposed wires and is not a safe application. The unit is working and working properly at this time. The customer concern was the vent on the front door. She was not sure if there was a missing piece. I explained to her that this is a normal part to the unit and that its a vent to help reduce excess heat buildup in the oven also tested the cooktop. She was saying that there sometimes the burners kick on and off I did tell her that part of that is normal, but that if there is any issue with not having constant voltage, going to the range that it can cause intermittent issues with the operation. All checks at this time are good except for the plug. I think its a safety hazard. It needs to be addressed as soon as you can find an electrician."

"Inspected the unit. Customer issue was that it was taking too long to dry the clothes. I tested. The dryer dryer was getting hot but in doing so I did see that the customer has the eco-boost setting on when theyre using the dryer. I showed the customer how to turn this particular setting off, which will now allow the element to get up to a higher temperature. I explained to the customer what this button does and what its for and that its not important to have it on that it will cause issues with your drying, especially on the heavier loads because it lowers the temperature of the heating element, but extends the time of drying all checks good at this time."

I asked the customer if it was like this the whole time and he said no that within the last couple months, they disconnected the washer to do some flooring in that area and when he reconnected, he mustve had the lines crossed and then shortly after that is when the problems began. So the lines are now where theyre supposed to be all tests on the manual test were good no issues except for the cold and hot lines that were reversed."
