Checked the top led module and the wiring under the hinge covers to try to recreate the issue but everything looked good. Realized the short was in the cabinet behind the mullion catch and was not repairable. Called Frigidaire and spoke with Gaty. He had me do on video with him so he could see the unit short out and reboot if I slightly pressed on the mullion catch. Informed customer that unit seems to be running properly as long the power is on but I cant predict if the unit shorts out completely. Inspected the washing machine found controls non-responsive door is locked. Broke door lock to allow customer to get clothes out of the unit. Also noticed the door boot has significant mildew and mold buildup on it I recommend replacing that as well was this was not included in the quote. Gave customer a quote to replace control board and door lock. Customer declined repair will purchase a new unit. unit is located in the laundry room and is approximately 21 years old.

Customer says the washer bangs around during spin mode. I calibrated the washer and ran a test cycle. Calibration and test cycle ran fine. Looks like an out of balance load situation. I explained to the customer the importance of not mixing loads on auto sense especially if they are not like material. I checked the suspension rods and the balance of the drum and everything checks good.
