"Inspected the unit and found the display board software not recognizing the correct program to run. Also found the main control board locking and unlocking the door and not recognizing when the door is locked. Was able to run a few test cycles and found water and grease leaking from the gearcase and tub area. Found the water valve leaking and the cold water button by the detergent, dispenser, damaged and not functioning. Attempted to remove the agitator from the basket and failed. The unit will need a complete tub replacement along with new control boards, water valves, and dispenser. Photos attached of grease covering rotor and stater under the unit.
