"Inspected the unit and found a failed gear case. The nut holding the gear case to the tub was seized, causing the unit to be completely rebuilt. Another issue was that the rust was extensive on the rest of the cabinet, preventing me from unscrewing due to the rust welding parts together. Unit is being put in for replacement."

"Inspected the unit and found a code for a tap touch fault. Could not replicate the issue. But basically its stating that at some point, the touchpad recognized a touch for a longer period of time than what it shouldve been. A lot of the time this can be due to oils or a pan too close to the touchpad. Ran multiple tests. All checks OK"

Checked out the unit and the customer stated it was leaking water. Ran it through a test cycle and the unit was not leaking water from your wash motor water valve or drain pump. Checked over the door seal and cleaned along the bottom of the door seal to make sure it was not leaking from the door. Ran a test cycle and found no leaks. Advise a customer to make sure when loading the dishes nothing is facing the door to prevent water spraying at the door. Checks OK

"Checked out the unit and found the temperatures in the refrigerator not staying down to the correct ranges. Checked inside the freezer and found that the evaporator cover had a frost pattern on the right side of the outside of the evaporator cover, indicating frost buildup and blocking the cold air blowing into the refrigerator. Advised the customer to do a 48 hour defrost to make sure that all of the frost and ice buildup inside the airways is cleared. The freezer temperatures were staying consistent. Check OK."

"Checked out the unit and found the unit squealing during a cycle and also was not heating. Disassembled the unit and lubricated the support wheels and idler arms. Checked the heating element, and the heating element checked out good, also checked the thermal fuse and the thermostat remove the back cover and found that the timer had a broken wire. Repaired the wire, and also replace the cycling thermostat. Checks OK"

The unit would need several parts, and the customer does not want to continue to use the unit due to the fire hazard and is reaching out to the company they purchased it from.
