"Customer states that the unit intermittently stops mid cycle. The entire control shuts off, lights and everything. The unit will power back on when this happens but they are not able to start the motor. They usually have to wait 5 to 10 minutes. Voltage at the outlet is correct at 245 VAC. Entered diagnostics mode to check for errors and found none. Ran diagnostics cycle and it would only run for 15 seconds. Ran timed dry cycle to test. Unit tumbles and heats. Temps are cycling on/off as they should. Unit did not act up at this time but without being able to run a diagnostic cycle the control is shorting and motor overheats. "Unit is 10 years old in the kitchen. Customer states that the unit is leaking water, isnt cooling well, has frost build up in the upper freezer, and water wont dispense. Fresh food liner has large cracks/ holes along the bottom near the door seal. Also found a gap in the freezer liner near the center mullion. This is why it is getting frost build up in the freezer section. Water leak is from a clogged defrost drain. This clog also blocked the air return for the fresh food section. This is why it isnt cooling well. This also froze the water reservoir causing no water dispense issues. Cleared defrost drain and air return. Verified air flow from freezer to fresh food is good. Unit needs water reservoir and water valve. Holes/cracks in liner will cause warm air to enter the unit and frost up. No repair possible for the liner issues. This is preexisting damage. The gap in the liner near the mullion is a factory defect and this will cause air leakage. Gap can be filled with silicone. ; ordrng 1 242220506 (Water tank) and 1 242252702 (Water valve)"

Door gaskets are in good shape. Compressor is drawing 1 amp. Found freezer control set to cold. This unit uses a mechanical damper to control the air flow from the freezer. "Customer states that the control is not recognizing the lid closed. The lid switch is good but the lock is loose in the cabinet. Found the bezel cracked where lock bolts to it. This is why the lid intermittently wont lock. The unit needs lid lock, bezel, screws, and drip tray. Tech glued old bezel to help it hold until we can get back with the parts needed. Tech to bring zip tie to secure harness to lid lock. This model has an issue with the lid lock harness not staying in place. ; ordrng 1 204698 (Lid lock) and 1 203643 (Bezel) and 2 800548 (Screw)s and 1 204038 (Drip tray)"

"Customer states that unit wont fill. Checked control for error codes and found F7E1 tachometer missing, F7E6 motor open circuit, and F7E7 motor unable to reach rpm. No errors for filling issues. Basket spins freely by hand. Ran diagnostics cycle to test functions. Unit fills with no issues. Unit will not spin or agitate. The motor just hums. The motor has a shorted winding and a bad capacitor. The unit wont fill because the control attempts to sense the motor first. If it detects an issue it wont fill. Took dryer apart and found a piece of metal stuck between the drum and glide. Checked drum, support wheels, motor, and pulley for any other abnormal sounds or movements.
