Inspected the unit and found the reed door switch and magnet not consistently aligning at the bottom of the door causing the unit to not recognize the door is closed. When the door does not recognize that it is closed the fan will not run and it will cause ice to build up behind the evaporator cover and the unit will start beeping detecting high temperatures. Removed and replaced reed switch from extra stock and made adjustments to the bottom of the door and magnet. Made minor adjustments to the door gasket to make sure its closing properly. Checked seals all around door and it is closing securely. Advised the customer we have resolved the problem with the unit but the symptoms of ice buildup behind the evap and cover are still present. Advised the customer to unplug the unit and leave the door open before 24 hours to allow all the ice to melt. All other checks ok.
