I could see the frost on the evaporator from the compressor running meaning the refrigerant was cycling well. Looked up compressor as well as the cold control and both parts were no longer available from the manufacturer. Removed the dryer so I could get the washer out to test it. Tested the washer and found that the water inlet valve cracked. Replaced water inlet valve and tested unit. No more leaks. Reassembled washer and reinstalled washer and dryer. Checks ok.; ordrng 1 201304P(ts) (Water valve)

Unit is 17 years old in laundry room. Customer states that the unit isnt spinning all the water out of the clothes. Draining fine but clothes are very damp. Inspected belt and brake assembly. The belt is ok. Thrust bearing is ok. The brake isnt fully releasing allowing the tub to spin up to speed. The unit needs the brake rotor and spring. The rotor is no longer available. No repair possible.
