Inspected the unit and found lint buildup on the inside of the dryer door. Made adjustments to the door as it seems to not be closing up properly. Ran a timed heated cycle and it ran for about 30 seconds and shut down while displaying a red light above the start button and displaying the clean lint filter light. Vent line for the apartment needs cleared by an HVAC company. The vent line is partially blocked and is causing the unit to shut down due to it over heating.

Inspected the unit and found 2 of the burners only heating when a 3rd burner was on. The two burner wiring harness has a short somewhere in the unit which is causing it not to heat properly. Also found the control board not turning on the big element in the upper oven. In order to locate the short in the wiring harness most of the unit will have to be disassembled and traced the wiring lines through the unit. High probability that technicians will not be able to locate short in the wiring harness. Unit will also need a new control board. Tech does not recommend repair due to risk of non repairable issue and cost of repair.

Inspected unit and found the unit not making any abnormal noises. Spun basket by hand and found the bearings still quiet and good. Put unit into a speed wash to test components. Everything was working properly. Customer said noise was incredibly random. Showed me a video of the noise issue. Agitator was slipping against gearcase shaft causing a ringing type noise. Gave customer quote for gearcase and washplate. Customer declined repair.
