Upon arrival customer stated timer knob would not pull out to start. Spun knob around and made sure knob and cycle line were lined up and pulled out knob. Unit started up properly. Pushed in and pulled out knob multiple times to ensure it was working. Rotated knob to multiple cycles to start. Discussed with customer about availability of parts for unit this old if parts were needed. All checks ok.

Inspected unit and found the unit not draining at all and throwing error code 18 for drain pump clearing algorithm failed. Found the drain pump testing open. Tested pressure sensor and it tested good. Informed customer the only thing I couldnt account for is if the control board is randomly throwing error codes. I would need to replace the bad part first. "Inspected the unit and found lint buildup on the bottom of the door. Photo attached. Customer concerned about an abnormal noise. Ran an empty, loaded, and wet load cycle, found no defects or failures. Ran an air flow test cycle and it failed, photo attached of lint still in the blower housing assembly after running the unit for several minutes. While running an airflow test, walked the outside of the building and found the exterior vent guard was opened less than 45? indicating poor airflow. Found one or two small pieces of toilet paper used in our test. Roughly 40 small pieces were placed in the blower wheel assembly which should have made its way outside. Advised the customer the only issue Im finding with the unit is an indicator of poor airflow to the exterior which could cause abnormal noise from the unit if it started to overheat. Recommended the customer contact vent wizard regarding new vent line previously installed. No defects fine with the unit. Advised the customer to issue returns to get a video of the noise."
