Checked out the unit and found the unit was completely locked and the unit would not go into a spin cycle due to the drive motor being locked up. Look up the parts that were required to fix it and those parts are no longer available. Called in inform the warranty company Case #21984008

Checked out the unit and found that the washer was going through an out of balance cycle and that the unit one going through a spin cycle was very loud. Recalibrated the unit and also tightened up the agitator due to it not shifting properly. The unit is approximately eight years old and is in rough shape. Checks OK

"Checked out the unit and found when going through an agitate at the start and a spin cycle at the very beginning of the cycles. It will create a screeching noise for the first 3 to 4 seconds, and then the noise goes away. The unit runs in completes the cycles with no issues. Advised the customer that warranty companies will not replace parts just because it makes a noise. And explained that it is not hurting the unit. Check OK"

"Case#21961410Check unit over, found that the control board and the wire harness were shorted out. There was also a mouse nest up in there. The wires have been chewed on. Mice had gotten into this unit at some point and caused the control board to fail. Spoke with Whirlpool third-party this is not something they will come."

Disassembled the unit and cleaned the inside of the dryer and the exterior vent behind the dryer. Checks OK

"Check unit over, the unit would not power on. Fix connection at junction box. I was then able to test the unit and found the unit would not drain. "Inspected the unit and found several display buttons not working, tub leaking on the right side where the weld lines are, lower and upper racks rusting, water in the base and the unit not running a heavy cycle. Contacted AST and advised of issues. AST to contact the customer."

Inspected the unit and provide information to customer regarding how the touchpad works and the function of the unit. Touchpad is functioning properly and requires a light touch. All checks OK.

Inspected the unit and found the door sagging to the right. Opening and closing the door found the metal stud welded to the side of the tub had broke off and the door would not close properly without leaking. Unit would need an entire tub rebuilt and just doors and side rails. The unit is nine years old and located in the kitchen. Called the customers home Warranty and advised of the issues and recommended the unit to be replaced. AHS to contact the customer.

Inspected the unit and found the ice cubes frozen together in the ice spin and not dispensing properly. Cleared ice cubes and made temperature adjustments to the unit. Found temps in the freezer section at 15 degrees and temps in the freshfood section at 40 degrees. Ran a self diagnoses and found no error codes. All mechanical components are responding and functioning properly.

Removed and replaced entire wiring harness on the dryer. Ran a test cycle. Unit is working properly.

Inspected the dishwasher and the only issue I found is the dishwasher near zero clearance on the sides and customer was concerned of how door was closing. Everything on the unit is operating properly door is setting properly.

Confirmed, good heat and airflow from rear of unit. Customer is going to leave exhaust off temporarily. "Checked out the unit and the customer stated they had a hard time ringing out some bedding and they were still at the end of the cycle. Checked out the suspension rods and also ran it through diagnostic cycle and it completed it with no issues. Also ran a recalibration cycle and after running the recalibration cycle, the unit was spinning within the correct ranges. Checked the back of the unit and cleared out the drain due to poor drainage. Checks OK"

Checked out the unit and found it had a basket shift fault and then found that the cam gear underneath it had come apart. Replaced the cam gear and recalibrated the drive actuator and reinstalled the drive belt. After reassembling the unit ran a diagnostic cycle and then a recalibration cycle. Checked out the unit and found that the water valve was continuously leaking due to hard water buildup inside the valve. Replace the water valve and ran a test cycle. Checks OK; used 1 W11165546 (WATER VALVE) from stock

"Checked out the unit and found that the defroster was staying on for too long and thawed out the freezer. The customer had unplugged it before we got there for an hour or two and then when plugging it back up, the temperature started dropping back to the correct ranges. Ran a test on the defroster and checked the temperatures, and the temperatures were at the correct rangesand the fan was operational. Check OK"

"Checked out the unit and found it was throwing a wash and rinse light, but was not flashing. The unit would fill and then drain with water. Inspected unit and found the front two burners would heat on high but not on low. Unit would stay at a high heat regardless of what setting it was put on. Gave customer quote for both front burner infinite switches. Customer declined repair for now.

"Check it over, found that the unit was making a grinding and buzzing noise and the drum would not spin. If I started the motor and spun the drum manually, I can get it to start to spin but after a few seconds he would shut down drum has started to separate at the weld and it is causing the unit to drag. This has shorted out the motor assembly. Unit also will not heat tested heating helmet and heating on tested OK. Unit has a failed control floor. "Inspected the unit and found it in rough shape. While running a test cycle found a cracked drain pump impeller making a loud noise during a drain cycle. Inner diagnostics and constantly kept shutting itself down. After resetting the unit and getting it to run actual diagnostic cycle, found the gear case and basket out of line and making a loud grinding noise while spinning, indicating a failure in the gear case and basket. Door bellow is slightly damaged due to the excess shaking and vibrating. The unit is roughly 10 years old and located in a tight space in a laundry room. Not a recommended repair as this is neither cost-effective nor functionally effective. Repair would require 2 techs and the unit moved by the customer to a large room in the house in order to complete repair. Inspected the other two door seals and found no issues with the other two door seals. Removed the water dispenser assembly and found that the piece behind it was broken and was not dispensing water. "Inspected the unit and found the lid lock damaged, and the harness damage running to the drain pump. Repaired drain pump and attempted to trick the door switch and the unit would not start and despite an error code. In our diagnostics and found an F6 E3 error code for miscommunication. Provided this information to the customer advised with possible issues the customer could have replacing the door switch. Customer declined repaired at this time."

Inspected the unit and made adjustments to the upper dish rack assembly. Leveled the dishwasher so the door closed properly. All checks OK.

Inspected the unit and found an oversuds code and a low water flow code. Found the cold water vale with poor water flow. Shut off the hot and cold water lines and removed both hoses to the valves. Found debris and blockage in the filter of the cold water valve. Removed and cleaned off. Installed filter and reattached waterlines. Ran another test cycle and we now have good water flow. Recalibrated the unit and ran a mechanical test cycle and found no other issues. All checks OK.
