Advise the customer to use 2 tablespoons or less of detergent or have the auto detergent and fill on the lowest setting as the manufacturer has realized anything more than 2 tablespoons of detergent will start to cause issues with the safety flood sensor known as the water pressure sensor in the unit. Advise the customer that the smell buildup is often caused from residual detergent building up and causing an odor. Recommend the customer using the cleaning tablets at least every two weeks (and clean out the drain pump) and recommended they run two cycles of the cleaning tablets through and then an empty cycle to help break down detergent buildup in the unit. Inspected unit and found the compressor not running at all. Unplugged unit and tried to get compressor to start up when I plugged it back in but unit would not start up. Called Assurant and talked with claims to tell them the unit is not repairable as the sealed system is not serviceable. Spoke with Janette. They stated everything was documented and they would be reaching out to the customer with options. Everything is filed under call number.

Inspected unit and found the unit working properly. Customer showed me a video of unit leaking from the door and it was leaking a large amount of suds. Informed customer that HE detergent should suds only a little if at all. Ran cycle with no detergent in it at all but unit still built up suds. Advised customer to run a couple tub clean cycles to help get rid of the detergent residue. Also advised to use less detergent. Unit did not leak at all during cycle test. All checks ok.

"Customer states that the freezer door isnt sealing well, fresh food handle has some pitting, and one crisper drawer is broken. Advised customer that the bin and handle are not covered under their warranty. The door isnt sealing well because it is bowed. Top is out more than the bottom. Attempted to adjust the upper hinge but there is no movement. Bowed door is allowing warm air and condensation in. Unit needs freezer door assembly and door gasket. Provided customer with part number for the crisper bin. Crisper bin 240351061; ordrng 1 807460004 (Freezer door)"

Customer states that the unit intermittently wont fully drain. No siphon loop under the sink. Secured siphon loop. Unit has a 5C error. This is a drain error. Pump functions in test mode. Inspected drain hose behind the unit and found it to be partially kinked/restricted from the installation. A new hole through the cabinet 5-6 inches closer to the wall will help put the hose in a better position. If the problem reoccurs after the drain has been moved the unit will a need drain pump. Unit was installed by Big Sandys. Advised customer to contact them to have the installation issue fixed. ; ordrng 1 DD31-00016A (Drain pump)
