Also advised customer to use washing machine cleaner tablets once a month to breakdown excess detergent. All checks ok.

Inspected unit and found it taken apart slightly. Customer stated thermal fuse would blow almost immediately upon starting the cycle. Thermal fuse was blown upon arrival. When taken apart I checked the heating element to make sure it was not shorted to ground. I also spliced a terminal onto a wire connecting to the thermal fuse. Informed customer that I would need to replace the control board and heating element. Customer declined repairs. ; used 1 DC96-00887C (BRACKET) from stock
