Checked unit over found that the microwave was functioning properly and the vent was working well. When the customer was using the oven burners the front door of the microwave in the handle itself would get extremely hot to the touch even while running the vent. The microwave is venting properly and functioning as designed. We believe due to the distance between the top of the oven and the microwave that the microwave is getting too hot to use. Our recommendation would be to put a shorter microwave in there or replace it with a hood vent.

Inspected the unit and found the gearcase making a grinding noise due to a small crack causing it to leak out the grease. Entered diagnostics and ran a test cycle and also found an error code F6 E3 for miscommunication. Provided the information to the customer recommended they replace the unit due to the on going and future issues they will have with the unit.
