"Inspected unit and found several major issues, including the gearcase leaking grease all over the idler pulley, belt, motor guard, motor, and drain pump. Run test and could hear a loud grinding noise coming from the basket. Attempted her diagnostics and clear error codes, but the control boardwould immediately exit out of diagnostics and would not allow me to clear to lights on the display. The wash plate bolt stripped while I was attempting to remove it. The unit is in very rough shape and not a recommended repair due to cost and high likelihood that the repair will fail. Additional labor and a second technician would be required to complete the repair. Found that the blower wheel was rubbing the housing and not allowing the drum to spin. Blower wheel was rubbing the housing because the motor was not fast to the frame. Frame supports are broken, which is not allowing the motor to stay fast. Spoke with American shield and due to the sports being broken is not a repairable issue."
