Inspected unit and found lid not locking at all. Put unit into diagnostic and try to lock lid that way as well and it would not lock. I had also spun the inner basket by hand and found the unit grumbling. This is an indicator that the bearings and gearcase is going out. Gave customer quote for lid lock as well as discussed the problem with the noise. Customer wants time to think about repair.
