Found several large cracks in the liner around and behind the evaporator. And a large amount of ice around the lines coming in to the back wall of the liner obstructing the cooling fans ability to work properly. The customers icemaker was also frozen in a block of ice. Due to condensation getting into the icebox. Provided sealant and Permagum to seal up the icebox and to patch all cracks in liner. Advise customer to run unit through a 24 hour defrost. All checks ok

Unit is stacked. Enter diagnostics and found an F9E1 error code and code for failed motor. Door was locked and could not gain access to the model and serial tag. Removed the back panel and ran a diagnostic cycle to test the unit. The door would not unlock and found the gearcase locked up and corrosion on and around the rotor and stator. The left support spring was also hanging down much further than the right side. Unit needs a tub job. Could not get the drain pump to engage. Customer states that unit was making a grinding noise and display is hard to read. Display is dim and missing segments. Display needs replaced. Customer stated that unit was making noise and when noise stopped the ice maker quit making ice. Inspected ice maker and found evaporator frosted over. Ice maker is not defrosting. Thermostat shows open but it should be closed. Voltage from control is good. Unit needs defrost thermostat and display. ; ordrng 1 5304527930 (Interface) and 1 5303918810 (Defrost safety limit)

"Inspected unit and found failed heating element and thermostat. Replaced parts and as soon as you plug the in-line the motor activates and the heat element turns on. The motor is making a grinding noise and not moving the basket. Removed unit and checked magnetron and wave guide. Found that the magnetron had exploded and damaged the wave guide. Called and spoke to Frank at Frigidaire and emailed him pictures to Frank.crotzer@elextrolux.com. He said the unit is non repairable and they will take care of contacting customer for replacement.
