Inspected the units and found that the washer had the drain hose shoved completely down in the drain so it was siphoning the water back into the unit. Reinstalled drain hose correctly 8 1/2 inches below the drain pipe opening. Ran a test cycle. All checks OK. Inspected the dryer. And found that they were only getting 30 to 40% of air flow through their vent lines. Advised that they get an accordion style vent line. And that they have their vents cleaned out. Everything with the unit checks OK

Customer states that unit is as showing F3 error. This is a shorted harness/control error. Customer unplugged unit when code appeared. Inspected harness for signs of shorting. None found. Nothing shorted to ground. No loose connections found. Outlet is properly grounded. Ran to test. Unit is heating as it should and drawing 14.4 amps. Well within specifications. Unable to duplicate concern of F3 error.

Customer states that over the weekend the unit started making noise and showing an SYEF error code. This is an evaporator fan error. Put unit into diagnostics to test. All fans and compressor are running as they should. No abnormal noises. Found some ice buildup around the fan but nothing blocking fan from moving. Cleared ice from fan. Installed new icemaker fill tube and insulated around fill tube. Icemaker fill tube was likely leaking past allowing water to get to the fan and lock up the fan. Advised customers the temperature should be back to normal in 24 hours. All OK.; used 1 241796405 (TUBE) from stock

"Inspected the unit and found a screw on the left door lock was removed and stripped, found the right two screws for the door hinge loose, partially stripped, and not allowing the hinge to be properly secured. Customer has had issues since they received the unit. Screws were loose upon delivery, installation team should have verified proper closure of the door and the unit functioning properly upon delivery. LG declining repair, damage is not manufacturing defect."
