"Inspected the unit and could not find a model or serial number on the unit. Where it is typically located you can tell the model and serial number has worn off. Ran a test cycle and found the gear case locking up when it runs to the spin cycle and the timer wiring harness arcing and providing a burning smell. The unit will need a new gear case, timer, and main wiring switch. The unit is roughly 23 years old and located in the laundry room. "Customer states that unit is leaking from the left hand side, control intermittently pauses on its own and cancels cycle, and door pops open. They notice the leak from half way up the door. Door seal and sweep are in good shape. Door is square and closing easily. Ran unit to test. Upper wash arm is spraying water but not moving. Nothing blocking arm and it spins freely by hand. Same with lower wash arm. Upper wash arm is splitting at the seam. Console has signs of moisture entering it causing short.
