"Inspected the unit and found an error code for over suds. Recalibrated the unit. installed part. Ran a test cycle minute filled with water, agitated, drained, and spun on the low medium and high cycle. Inspected the inside of the unit and found detergent residue on the door and door boot. I advise the customer that the oversudes error code will cause the unit to stop in the mid cycle and run the drain pump for eight minutes without spinning out the clothes. This error code is caused by excess detergent left inside the unit that builds up over time and then eventually messes with the water level sensor. Whirlpool has created a cleaner tablet called Affresh that the manufacturer recommends running through the unit about every 3 to 4 weeks to help break down the access detergent build up. Advised the customer to purchase the cleaning tablets and use them on a regular basis."

Every time I would turn those switches on and we continue to trip the breaker. Removed cover for infinite switches. Found that the wire harness and the switches had completely melted. Spoke with home buyers about this issue and due to the age they are going to put the unit in for replacement options. Got authorization for work done.

Customer was complaining that she was getting an E 22 error code. That error code is for a blocked filter screen. She does not get it every load just occasionally. I told her she just needs to make sure she cleans that screen and rinses the dishes properly. Customer will not use rinse aid or any type of pods. She uses her own detergent. Her biggest complaint is that the silverware comes out cloudy. I did reset the control and turn up the heated option for the wash. The unit would make noise when it circulated but it was only because of the way the silverware was inserted into the basket. I told her to eliminate that noise and use that top rack otherwise that noise would continue. The unit is functioning and working properly I dont know of any way to get the silverware any cleaner other than using rinse aid.

Inspected the unit and found the average temperature in the fresh food section at 34? and our temperature in the freezer section at 7?. No error codes displayed. Fans running in the fresh food and freezer section sound normal. Customer described the the fan cycling up and running faster and louder for a short periods of time and he hears a couple times a week. This is the boost cycle on the fan and typically kicks in shortly after a defrost cycle. Per techline this is normal for these types of fans. All checks OK. Advised the customer if they have concerns in the future to video record the sound and send it to GE.

Customer states that unit is noisy from the freezer and has frost on the back wall. No frost or noise present currently. Found signs of water leakage from the ice maker. It is currently off because the bucket is full. Cycled ice maker and it did not over fill. It is sitting at an odd angle. Ice maker is tight and mounts are but it is sitting low to the right. Liner has signs of heat in the upper left corner where the ice maker mounts. Liner may be warped letting ice maker sit at an angle. Customer complaint that units making different weird noises one of which sounded like water running. Inspected the unit and found good temperatures in the freezer and refrigerator section. Found the fan in the freezer section running without any issues or abnormal sounds. Found the compressor running and compressor fan running without any issues or abnormal sounds. Found gapping between the inner and outer liner in the freezer section. Use food grade sealant to seal up the gapping. Customer also complained of frosting in the freezer section and the only frost we could find was inside containers that were not properly sealed. I advised the customer that this is freezer burn from the package is not being sealed properly. I also advise the customer and the sounds are more likely coming from the compressor and that we could not find any issues with unit at this time and that the water dripping sound is from the defrost cycle and is normal. ; ordrng 1 11111 (Sealant for TS)
