Customer states that the unit isnt heating properly. It preheats in normal amount of time but items need longer than normal time to cook. Voltage to the unit is correct at 243 VAC. Bake and broil element are good. Temperature sensor is reading normal for room temperature. No loose or broken wires. Ran unit in bake at 400 to test. Unit said it was preheated but actual temp is only 375. Allowed the unit to cool to see if the control maintains the temperature. The unit is not maintaining the temperature. The unit needs the main pcb.

"Inspected the unit and found the tub freely spinning with little to no resistance. Ran a test cycle and could hear the control board making a loud clicking noise as if its attempting to activate the motor, the motor would not spin. Activated a drain and spin cycle but could not get the drain pump to activate either.Pulled the unit forward inspected the rear of the unit and found the shipping bracket still installed on the unit. For the installation instructions the shipping brackets along with the bolts have to be removed for the unit to properly run felt extra strain on the unit. Sent the photos to the customer advised them the shipping brackets are still in the unit and that GE warranty would not cover any repairs due to it not being properly installed. Advised the customer they will need to contact retailer regarding the issues."

"Checked unit over, found that the unit would not run through a cycle and had no power coming into the unit. Unit has a shorted control board and user interface along with a capacitor. When you spin the basket by hand, it makes a rough, clicking noise. Unit needs new inner basket in gearcase. Inspected the unit and found major issues. Ran a diagnostics test cycle and attempted to recalibrate the unit and the control board kept shutting down before completing the calibration. Found the spring suspension rods are faulty along with a gearcase leaking grease and drain pump impeller damaged making a loud grinding noise during drain. Could not remove the agitator from the basket. Unit will need a tub job repair. Requires additional labor and a second tech.
