While running the diagnostics the unit abruptly shut off and would not respond for roughly 30 seconds. Once the unit responded I finished my inspection. The unit is 7 years old and most unit last between 8-10 years before major issues or parts no longer available. Customer stated they would contact us if they wish to move forward with the repair.

Found damage to the inner basket underneath unit due to the drill bit. Took pictures and provided information to the customer. Inspected the unit and found the temperatures inside freezer to be around -4?. I found frost buildup at the top. But the door seal was sealing all the way around. Drain line was clogged. Making ice buildup behind evaporator cover. Removed evaporator cover. Removed all ice. Cleaned mold from around seal. Pulled unit out. Unclog drain line. Compressor was pulling 1.5 A. But the compressor was too hot to touch it. Indicating that the compressor is probably on its way out of service. All checks OK.
