Checked unit over found switch is locked up and would not engage. Found bad fan assembly and bad fan switch. And it also needs timer due to being shorted out. Inspected unit and found the washer motor running correctly but the drain pump not running. I took off drain pump and there was a clog stopping the impeller. Removed clogged and put pump back on. Ran tests. All checks ok.

Inspected unit and found unit slightly unlevel. Leveled unit out and made sure to educate customer on the amount of clothes that needed to be put in higher capacity washers. All checks OK.

Inspected the unit and found the main wiring harness running from the terminal block to the main control board and shorted out and it has damaged the control board. Found the bake element damaged and one of the infinite switches had burnt out. The unit is 12 years old and located in the kitchen. Due to the age and the cost of repair the tech recommends to replace the unit. Customer states that intermittently loads arent coming out dry and in automatic it stalled out around the energy saver setting. Cycling thermostat tests good at room temperature. No lint build up in blower housing. Ran unit to test. Unit is cycling on/off as it should and getting to correct temperature. Timer will need replaced. Contact isnt opening and allowing it to advance. This is a known issue with these. This is most likely the cause of long dry times as well. Checked unit over found that the door latch had been kicked closed. Disassembled and fixed door latch checks ok

Arrived and found that the unit was all taken apart. I informed them we would not work on unit due to it being taken apart and previously worked on under warranty by another service provider.

Checked unit over found bad timer and knob. Removed timer and cleaned contacts. Replaced knob and cleaned vent inside dryer and outer vent. Checks ok

Customer states they had frost build up in the freezer. Customer had the unit thawed out. Did check the gasket and the rails and check ok.

Installed new gasket and advised customer to keep door closed as long as possible to help gasket hold shape.

"Inspected and found the motor relay randomly wanting to not release and stay activated as long as the door was closed. Disconnect all power to the unit and inspected the control board, found no burnt relays or harnesses at the control board, re-programmed control board and reset the relay. Ran multiple test cycles with no issues. All checks ok. If the issue returns the customer will need to replace the control board."

"Inspected unit and found ice buildup underneath the icemaker, the customer has defrosted the icemaker section multiple times and the issue continues to return. During inspection also found iceberg up behind the evaporator wall and water under the deli drawer. Advised customer they have potential issues with the drain line for the fresh food section and possible cracking along the back wall behind the evaporator cover. Advised customer I would not know more until we remove the evaporator cover. Provided estimate to clear drain line, install wire heater for the drain line, and assess the back wall for cracks. Customer approved repair. Removed evaporator cover and found the drain line clogged and frozen over. Cleared the drain line and installed heater, cleared ice off back wall and found three minor cracks. Showed issues to the customer and applied permagum around cracks to seal it off. Reassembled the evaporator cover and sealed around it. Cleared ice out of the icemaker section and removed icemaker. Cleared ice off fan assembly, and applied food grade sealant around the icebox to prevent warm air from getting in. Installed Y clips on evaporator coil in the icemaker section and installed new upgraded icemaker. I advise the customer to allow the fresh food section to defrost for at least 24 hours to allow the drain lines completely clear out. I advise the customer after 24 hours is up they can plug the unit back in and it should take up to 24 hours for the fresh food section in the freezer section of returning on the temperatures and an additional 24 hours after that if your icemaker starts working. All checks OK; used 1 DA97-15217D (ICE MAKER) from stock"

Installed water valve customer already had part

"Inspected unit and found ice in the ice mold but it would not harvest it into the ice bin. Called tech line and spoke with Demarcus entered diagnostics and ran the following tests cycles. Ran the harvest cycle and it dumped the ice without any issues-passed. Ran a thermistor check and the temperature read 30?F, the temperature on the icemaker motor was an average of 33?.-passed. Ran a fill cycle and it filled the ice mold with water.-passed. Ran a fan test cycle and it activated without issue-passed. Checked the wire harness running to the control board and it would not give consistent readings (ranged from OL - 75.9]. Techline said to check the resistance on the icemaker directly, reading showed 11.0 resistance. Techline advised the reading should be around 25.0 based on the temperature. Techline advised to replace the icemaker. Installed new icemaker from truck stock as part warranty. ; used 1 243297613 (part warranty) (Icemaker (part warranty)) from stock"

"Customer stated the unit was making a louder noise and displaying error code CS for long drain time. Removed and cleared drain lines. Filled the unit with water and ran a test cycle on the drain pump. The pump activated and drained without any issues, ran through a spin cycle with no abnormal vibrations or noises. All checks ok."

Inspected unit and found back evaporator cover frosted up. Fan was frozen up as well. Defrosted the fan. Fan was working properly after defrosted. Previous tech had already put upgrade kit on unit. Put Perma gum around inlets of wires and coils. Made sure door switch magnets were lining up correctly. Informed customer this is all we could do right now per Frigidaire. Advised customer to call Frigidaire about this continuing issue.

"Inspected unit and found the terminal on the right hand side of the bake element had burnt up. Checked continuity of bake element which was ok. Changed the terminal for element. I also taped the two black wires from the terminal block together to keep them from touching the element terminals. When I went to test the unit, it would not come on. When testing incoming voltage, I had none. Tested voltage at the outlet with none. Informed customer I could not properly test the unit because the outlet did not have proper voltage. Informed them they would have to replace it or call an electrician for that. Unit should be ok when plugged into outlet with proper voltage."

Upon arrival I put into a drain and spin cycle so I could see if unit was locking and spinning properly. Checked unit over found control shorted again and not heating. Spoke with jasmine at HBW and they will reach out to the customer about replacement options.

Replaced user interface. Error code was 888 in display saying no water detected. Instructed customer on running cleaning tablets.

Checked unit over found that the unit has a blown thermostat and isnt cycling correctly. Unit needs new heater. Replaced heater and tested unit heating and cycling properly. ; used 1 DE486A (ELEMENT) from stock

Unit wont spin or drain tested unit found drain pump is completely clogged. Instructed customer they'd need a new drain pump but isnt covered by AHS. Unit was also leaking around the door seal area. Checked with Art at American shield authorization. They are not going to cover the replacement of the drain pump.

I had to remove the dryer out of the way. Pictures are attached. Disassembled the washer and removed front case. Found that one of the rear springs had broken. Replaced spring. Reassembled unit and reinstall dryer checks OK

Unit needs new hidden bake element. Customer to think about repair.
