Inspected unit and found water in the base of the unit and in the bottom of the basket area. Found the control board receiving voltage but not sending it out to the rest of the unit. Reset the unit multiple times and make sure the wire harnesses were connected properly. Control board started functioning and the drain pump kicked on and drained the water out of the basket area. Water still in the base area couldve been caused by multiple areas of leaks. Provided estimate to the customer to replace the control board and then we would have to check for potential leaks. Tech recommended to replace the unit due to its age and the cost of repair and potential issues with future leaks. Customer declined repair.

Checked unit over found that the unit was filling with water and sending power to the wash motor but the wash motor would not run. Wash motor is defective. Unit needs a new wash motor it is covered under a part warranty but customer is responsible for labor. Gave customer a quote.

Checked unit over found that the dishwasher was functioning properly but the customers drain hose was completely plugged up. This drain hose runs about 6 or 7 feet under a counter. The new dishwasher was hooked to an old drain hose assembly. Instructed customer to get drain line cleaned out or replaced.

Customer states unit wont heat and they think it is sparking inside. Unit has correct voltage. Removed drum to inspect and found wire to heater shorted/burnt. Wire sparked from touching cabinet. Heater and thermostat test good. Repaired wire and ran to test. Unit is heating as it should. All ok.

Customer states that temperature in oven is off compared to their thermostat. Oven temperature sensor tests good at room temperature. Preheated unit to 400. Temperature averages out to be 5 degrees hotter. Calibrated control.
