Customer states that the unit will not start. Lights up but wont do anything else. Unit is full of water as well. Cleared water and verified correct voltage. Outage is good. Forced unit into drain but it wouldnt drain. Drain hose is clear and plumbed correctly. Inspected further and found the float switch stuck open. Freed switch and unit is operating correctly.

Customer states that unit leaks when draining. Leaking from the left side near the drain hose. Inspected underneath the unit and found the drain hose loose from the cabinet. It is leaking when the pump drains. Secured hose with clamp and ran to test. No more leaks. All ok.

"Inspected the unit and ran a mechanical test. Unit filled with water, activated the wash motor on low and on the high setting, activated the float switch, activated the lower and upper sprayarms on low and high cycle, activated the dispenser door and rinse aid dispenser, and activate the drain pump. Found no mechanical defects with the parts listed. Enter diagnostics to test for software issues and found multiple error codes that were not accurate in the description of the problem. Some error codes shown are not even programmed for this unit. Possible software issues on the control board. Reprogrammed the control board using latest approved software. Ran two more test cycles in unit is functioning properly at this time. The customers using cascade detergent pods with dawn dish soap and I recommended they use a different detergent that does not have Dawn dish soap, as these often suds up and will cause issues with the sensors. The manufacture is currently recommending not to use the detergent pods with Dawn dish soap. Also recommended to place any detergent pods down in the bottom of the tub rather than placing them in the dispenser door to get a more effective wash cycle."

Informed customer that if there is not enough water unit would get out of balance easier and could possibly bang against the cabinet. Customer to call back if unit makes any abnormal noises."

The interior light is not working now. The control is not sensing the door open. The door switch is shorted closed from moisture. Unit is 10 years old in kitchen. Customer states that the unit is not cooling. Unit is currently unplugged. Removed back panel to inspect. No signs of visual damage to the compressor or the control board. Plugged unit in and the both the evaporator and condenser fan came on. There is no voltage going through the compressor from the main control board. Compressor windings are good. The unit needs control board. Inspected the unit and found the appliance not responding and completely dead. Found unit receiving proper voltage but nothing responding to no lights on the unit. Disconnected the unit from power for several minutes and plugged it back in. Compressor started making a loud thumping noise and the fans activated inside the unit but neither the lights or the touchpad started functioning. The compressor is very warm to the touch and is locked up. The unit is 12 years old and located in the kitchen.
