Wash plate will have to be broken to remove. The splines of the transmission have worn from rust. Unit will need transmission, wash plate, and drive hub."

Ran diagnostics with HASS app. Unit has DC error. Door switch is operating as it should. Ran diagnostics cycle with no issues. Moisture sensors are within normal cycle to test. Unit shut down after 2 minutes. No load in the unit so this is normal. If it senses no moisture it will shorten the cycle. Unable to duplicate concern. Advise customer to use and monitor. If problem reoccurs occurs, the unit will need the main control."

"Inspected the unit and found insulation had gotten on the heating element for the freezer and was causing a bad odor in the unit. Cleared the heating element of any debris. Insulation expansion over time is a common issue with Samsung refrigerators, not a safety or fire concern. The heating element will melt it off and the smell will eventually go away. Checked the compressor and it was pulling 5amps on start up but quickly dropped below .50 amps indicating a sealed system leak. The next step is to install a dye filter and recharge the unit to see if we can locate the leak. Ordering filter. ; ordrng 1 Xxxx (Dye filter)"

"Inspected the unit and found a large amount of calcium buildup inside the unit coating the wash motor, spray arms, baskets, rails, etc. The unit is leaking between the wash motor and tub along with the front door gasket. Unit is 5 years old and located in the kitchen. Called Assurant and provided report. Assurant declined coverage on the unit as the calcium deposit is not covered under environmental damage. Advised the customer to contact Assurant customer service if they want more detail."

Upon arrival put unit into diagnostic mode. Had error codes for out of balance. Put unit into a automatic cycle. Found cold water not coming in very well. noticed as unit was spinning it was louder. Checked underneath and found gear case with grease on it. Informed customer that generally this means there is a crack and it is allowing grease to leak out and water to leak in. Discussed with customer a gear case fix. Customer declined repair.
