Customer has adjusted the temperature setting and this helped They state that the ice cubes are freezing together. No leaks from the ice maker. Door isnt closing fully at times causing outside air/heat in. This thaws the cubes then they refreeze. Adjusted door hinge because the door isnt sealing well on the left top corner. Unit is now cooling properly. All ok.

Unit also has belt noise. Ran agitation test unit is agitating fine. The wash plate will not come off to inspect the drive hub. It will need to be broken to remove. The transmission shaft may have large amount of wear. Unable to confirm. The belt is stretching from spinning out of balance and is slipping on the drive pulley. Advised customer that even when cold wash is selected the unit will use some hot water. For the unit to use strictly cold they need to select tap cold setting. This setting will use only cold tap water. The unit adds in hot in the cold wash to get to the temperature the control wants for cold wash. The unit is programmed this way and cannot be altered. Inspected the unit and found a large amount of suds. maintenance was advising customer to use two pods due to hard water. I advised against it. Suggested that customer use finish pods. And not to rinse dishes off with dish soap. Ran a test cycle. All checks ok

Upon arrival found all burners out. Lifted top panel to check burner terminals for damage. Could not find any. Took back panel off and found all wiring looked good. Put burners back in and plugged unit in. Started each burner and made sure it heated up. While on also touched burners with metal screwdriver and my hand. Burners heated up properly but did not shock at all. All checks ok.

"Unit is 14 years old in the kitchen. Customer states that half the touchpad does not operate. The start, delay, high temp, and air dry buttons are inoperable. You are able to select all other buttons and options. Removed console to inspect. No signs of corrosion or loose connections. Reset control and it still would not operate. Voltage to the touchpad is present. Door switch is operating correctly. The unit will need the console assembly with touchpad. The part is no longer available through our sources. Customer states that the unit is producing a pepper odor when it is running. No abnormal noises or abnormal amp draw. No signs of shorting or damage to any wiring. Ran unit to test. The longer the unit runs the more prevalent the odor becomes. There are no stains or spills on the interior of the microwave. The cabinet above the unit is empty. No signs of anything getting spilled into the vent either. Vent filters are clean and in good shape. Transformer is beginning to short and produce odor. Unit needs HV transformer and mag tube. ; ordrng 1 DE26-00126A (HV transformer) and 1 OM75P-21-ESGN (Magnetron)

"Customer states that the first cycle finished out fine with no issues. Every cycle since then does not complete. The unit shows it is done after a few minutes. Control has water level fault from not draining. All functions operate during test mode. Unit fills, agitates, drains, and spins fine in test mode. Cycle history shows unit not completing the cycle 7 times. It indicates a fault occurred to end the cycle but then shows it finished. Ran rinse/spin cycle to test. This cycle is the one ran when it shows it wouldnt finish out. Unit ran through the cycle with no errors but it did short cycle. When the unit got down to two minutes, the timer went from two to end, and did not count down. It will need the main control for software issue. Unit does not show it has a current software update ready. ; ordrng 1 Unkown (Main control)"

"Customer states that unit isnt completing the cycle. Ran diagnostics cycle with no issues or error codes. Heater is drawing 7 amps. Well within spec. Wash motor, dispenser, and diverter are all operating correctly. Removed door skin to inspect control board. No signs or loose/damaged connections. No sign of moisture shorting out the touchpad or control. Reset control and ran to test. After control reset the touchpad started shorting out. It was turning on and off the sound on its own. The touchpad is shorting causing issues.; ordrng 1 W11162736 (Console)"

Customer states that unit is still leaking from the left side. Removed door skin and ran unit in rinse to test. When unit changes to the upper wash arm the unit leaks from around the vent. Vent motor is closed. Removed vent to inspect and clean. No signs of broken/damaged seal. Cleaned door and vent. Reassembled and ran to test. Unit is still leaking from the vent area. The unit needs the vent and grill assembly ; ordrng 1 W10469575 (Vent assembly) and 1 W10195032 (Vent grille)
