"Unit is five years old in the kitchen. Customer states that items in the top shelf of the fresh food section are freezing, and it is leaking water from out of the freezer. Items are freezing in the fresh food section due to their proximity to where the air comes out. Damper and evaporator fan are operating normally. Advise customer on placement of items in the fresh food section to prevent freezing. Water leak is a clogged defrost drain in the freezer section. Thawed drain and installed heater wire. "Customer states that unit is going off balance on larger loads. Towels, and bedding material usually. Unit is level as it sits. Inner basket has play on the transmission shaft. Suspension is tight. No error code stored in the system. Ran diagnostic cycle and unit would not get to spin speed. It is going off-balance. Removed agitator to inspect the drive hub and found the drive loose from the inner basket. It is loose where the hub mounts to the basket base. Also found signs of the balance ring leaking. The ring has no fluid in it and it caused unit to vibrate more. This has worn the drive. "Inspected the unit and found multiple door switches bad again and the unit tripping the breaker. This is the third time in the past 12 months that something has caused the door switches to fail. We are unable to repair the unit completely, anything we do at this point will continue to fail due to the microwave cavity. "Unit is seven years old in the kitchen. Customer states that the unit intermittently shows open/ close door. Sometimes they are able to open/close the door and this works sometimes it does not. The unit has been functioning for the past few days though. Inspected interlock and door switches and all are in good shape. Voltage to the unit is correct at 123VAC. Ran test and it is pulling 15.5 A. The unit is functioning as it should. Advised customer to pause unit before opening the door. If the problem reoccurs the unit will need the interlocks and micro switches."

"Unit is 11 years old in the kitchen. Customer states that water is leaking underneath the deli drawer. Also, the water wont dispense and the icemakers arent operating. Inspected unit and found the defrost drains clogged causing water leak. The unit did not have a water filter in it. This will prevent ice or water from dispensing. Had recently purchased new filters to install. Installed new filter and dispenser and icemakers are operating as they should. Cleared defrost drain and installed leak kit from the manufacturer. "Inspected the unit and found the control board and motor faulty. Motor locked up. Found rust on the rear vent of the unit due to poor airflow and a large amount of lint buildup inside the unit. The unit would need a new motor and control and a maintenance clean out for the unit, which often leads to discovery of more problems. Provided a rough estimate for repair and recommended replacement."

Installed the parts and discovered a PVC pipe running to the dishwasher for the inlet water and switching over to a threaded line about 6 inches behind the dishwasher. Showed this to the customer advised they could have possible leaks with this PVC pipe. Ran to test cycles in the unit ran inside any issues. While removing the Casebreak water got down by the moisture sensor and activated the flood cycle. I advise the customer the dishwasher will run the drain pump on and off for the next several hours or the next day waiting for that moisture to evaporate. Cleaned up any water in the base tray.

Inspected the unit and found good voltage of 240 V at the wall but only 120 V from line 1 and neutral at the back of the unit. Found no voltage from line 2 and neutral. Advised the customer they have a bad power cord and will need to replace the power cord or contact retailer for a new cord.

Inspected the unit and found the Icemaker mold filled with ice but the Icemaker button off. Turned it back on and about 2 hours later the Icemaker dumped the ice and filled with water. All checks ok.
