"Inspected the unit and found the gear case leaking water and making a grinding noise. Found grease and water on the underside of the unit and leaking everywhere. Attempted to run a test cycle prior to this knowledge and found the shift actuator constantly re-shifting and the drain pump not running more than a couple of seconds. It appears the grease or water has gotten into these underside components and causing fail as well. Could not remove the wash plate. It will need a tub job, additional labor, and a technician.
