Inspected the unit and found a brown powdery substance on the floor of the upper along with the racks. Photos taken and attached. Scuff/scratch marks found on the side cavity walls where the rail slide in and out. Rails are difficult to slide in and out. Called Techline and advise of the issues and if theres anything that should be done or have any known issues with this model. Techline advised there were no known issues and that the rails and the cavity walls will shift and move around as the unit heats up over the first year or so and the customer can expect those racks to fluctuate on how hard or easy it is to pull in and out. GE reviewed the photos and said they have no known issues and asked if there was any noticeable damage to the cavity or broil element. No noticeable damage other than the scuff/scratch marks along the rails. GE documented and advised the customer should hand clean the unit and continue to use it unless they have a fault code displayed or another component failure.
