Inspected the unit and found the main wiring harness running from the terminal block to the main control board and shorted out and it has damaged the control board. Found the bake element damaged and one of the infinite switches had burnt out. The unit is 12 years old and located in the kitchen. Due to the age and the cost of repair the tech recommends to replace the unit. Left the unit unplugged and told the customer not to use it due to fire hazard.; rqstng P&A on 1 W10840298 (Control) and 1 W10308477 (Element) and 1 111111 (Main wire harness between terminal block and control) and 1 3148952 (Switch)

Customer states that intermittently loads arent coming out dry and in automatic it stalled out around the energy saver setting. Cycling thermostat tests good at room temperature. No lint build up in blower housing. Ran unit to test. Unit is cycling on/off as it should and getting to correct temperature. Timer will need replaced. Contact isnt opening and allowing it to advance. This is a known issue with these. This is most likely the cause of long dry times as well. Contact wont close to allow it to heat. ; ordrng 1 D518562 (Timer)
