Forced water valves on and all function as they should. Ran to test and unit wont shift to spin. Clutch is getting voltage but wont move. Attempted to remove rotor but it is seized to shaft. Will need to break rotor to remove. Unit has had a small leak from the tub seal. Seal leak causes clutch to lock up. "Customer states that unit started making a grinding/crunching noise in the final spin. Unit spins smooth by hand and has no resistance. Ran in rinse and spin to test. Wash plate is loose and making noise. Tightened wash plate but bolt just spins and wont tighten. Attempted to remove bolt but it wont come out. Threads of transmission and bolt are stripped. When inspecting unit I found a broken wire to the thermistor. Wire broken at molex connector. Would need harness to repair. Inspected the unit and found it making a loud squealing sound in the spin cycle. Removed the top and found the suspension rods and shocks failing causing the unit to sag and damage the bellow. Could spin the unit by hand and hear a grinding noise coming from the gear case. Really short test cycle in the unit constantly paused and then restarted. The unit needs a tub job and the control boards changed out. This will require a second tech and a second time slot.
