Customer states that after using bake at 400 for an hour or so they canceled bake and turned broil on to 500. After 15 minutes the temperature continued to drop. Unit isnt maintaining broil. No error codes stored in the system. Reset control and ran broil to test. Unit got to temperature in 10 minutes and continues to maintain the broil temperature. Allowed broil to cycle on/off for 20 minutes with no issues. Broil temperature averages out to be 510. Well within specifications. Unable to duplicate concern of not maintaining broil temperature.

Customer states that unit is producing a burning odor when in use. Removed drum and found lint built up behind baffle and lint throughout the unit. Cleared lint from unit. Vent to the exterior has a lot of built up lint as well, advised customer to have vent cleared. Ran to test. No burning odors from the machine and it heats as it should. All ok.

Unit is 15 years old in laundry room. Customer states that unit heats but take several cycles to dry even a small load and lid is very hot but damp. Removed vent and inspected. Found house side of vent clogged with damp lint. Ran unit to test temperature with vent disconnected. Temperature on high heat is cycling between 110-155. Unit is heating and cycling as it should. Issue with long dry times is due to a clogged vent. Advised customer to have vent cleared and this will improve the dry times.

Installed new door switch and verified correct operation. All okay. Customer states that unit started making noise again. When they open the door the noise stops. Inspected icemaker and found no ice around fan. Forced ice box fan on and test mode and fan is making a noise from bad bearings. Replaced fan and verified quiet operation. "Inspected the unit and found a large amount of detergent buildup in the dispenser housing assembly and the pressure sensor clogged with detergent. Cleared out both and advised customer to use cleaning tablets on a regular basis to keep the sides from messing with the function of the unit. Inspected the units and found that the washer had the drain hose shoved completely down in the drain so it was siphoning the water back into the unit. Reinstalled drain hose correctly 8 1/2 inches below the drain pipe opening. Ran a test cycle. All checks OK. Inspected the dryer. And found that they were only getting 30 to 40% of air flow through their vent lines. Advised that they get an accordion style vent line. And that they have their vents cleaned out. Everything with the unit checks OK
