Ran in agitation to test. No abnormal noises. Removed agitator to inspect. Nothing under it causing noise. Nothing under unit is rubbing. Ran with load to test. "The issue at hand is that the plastic liner of the dispenser door has wear and a dimple where the door switch presses against causing issue of switch not fully closing therefore intermittent issues of door alarm light comes on the user interface, and not being able to dispense ice etc. Showed customer, door switch itself appears ok and not loose. For quick fix suggested putting a small strip of foam to help added pressure to close switch. Dispenser and solenoid work ok, unit is making ice and ice bucket itself is ok. Customer states that unit isnt cooling well in either section. Inspected unit and found frost build up on the evaporator cover. Unit isnt defrosting properly. Frost build up restricts air flow and is why it wont cool the fresh food section and freezer. Forced unit into defrost. Defrost circuit is good. Heater is warming as it should. Found evaporator thermistor not secured to bill evaporator. Secured sensor. Tested sensors at harness and they are testing within spec for the temperature it is at. Control isnt sensing temperature of evaporator properly and wont defrost. Also upper ice maker is frosting up and is in need of air handler kit.
