"Unit keeps tripping the breaker as soon as you start unit. Recommend replacing entire door assembly with new door hook and latch body with all new switches. Already replaced monitor switch because the breaker was tripped as soon as you plug the microwave in. The door assembly is twisting causing three switches to activate at different times. Checked unit over and found that the unit was heating up properly and was shutting off with no issues when disconnected from apartment vent. Put unit on air dry it was not heating up. This is normal. Disconnected from apartment venting and instructed customer to run a couple loads through to ensure that it is functioning normal when not connected to their vents. She was OK with this. I spoke with Sandy at Aarons and they are OK with us billing them for the trip charge.

Checked unit over and found that the rear drum was making a scraping noise after the unit heated up. Unit needs new drum assembly. Customer was also having issues with the heat cycles and it is not responding correctly between high and low heat. Unit will also need a control board. Customer is going to attempt to get a concession number from GE.

Checked unit over found that the unit kept throwing a f1 and e1 error code and wouldnt respond to anything. Reset breaker and still did the same thing. Put into diagnostics and cleared codes and rest breaker and unit started functioning normal.

Unit not cooling properly due to frozen over evaporator caused by defrost heater. Connector not connected from factory. Plugged unit in and entered diagnostics, activated heater and the unit started to defrost. Completely defrosted evaporator to ensure proper airflow to refrigerator section. Everything checks out OK

Upon arrival customer stated that unit leaks water and it comes out from the front. Ran unit in quick wash to verify leak. Found leak coming from the dispenser hose. It had rubbed against the pressure hose and wore through. Pressure hose is good. Replaced dispenser hose and rerouted pressure hose away from dispenser hose. Ran to test. No more leaks. All ok. Upon arrival customer stated that unit is making a clunk sound in spin. Had video of noise and it sounds like gearcase noise. Put unit into spin to verify noise. Noise is coming from the gearcase. Inspected gearcase and found end play in gearcase shaft. End play is whats causing the noise. Under large load the weight on the agitator makes the noise. Unit needs gearcase. Due to cost of repair customer does not wish to proceed.
