Ran spin test. Basket isnt engaging in spin. Removed wash plate and found drive hub stripped out and drive shaft rusted/worn. This is why unit wont spin and shows speed fault error. Unit needs transmission and drive hub. Due to cost and age of unit customer does not wish to proceed."

The customer said they had been baking something in the oven for about 30 or 40 minutes when they heard it break. Contacted Lowes extended warranty about coverage and spoke with Kent. Advised him of the issues and he advised it would not be covered under warranty from them but there may be an exception if the customer deals directly with the manufacturer. Recommended the customer contact the manufacturer.

Unit fan was not running, suspect unit is in defrost mode. Talked to staff for 10 mins came back unit was getting warmer, still in defrost. Then unit switched back over to unit running and waited to let unit run and cool. Unit temps are dropping, ok. Suggested putting thermometer in cup of water to check. Unit checks ok."

Upon arrival customer stated that unit wont agitate and makes a grinding noise. Washplate cap was off when I arrived. Bolt for washplate was loose. Removed washplate and found a washer wedged under it. It was between the center of the wash plate and the bottom of the basket. Washer is from under the wash plate between it and the drive. Reinstalled washer and washplate. Made sure bolt is tight. Ran unit in quick wash to test. As unit was agitating the wash plate came loose on its own. Drive shaft threads are worn and wont tighten. Unit needs clutch assembly and washplate. ; ordrng 1 AEN73131403 (Clutch Assembly)

Refrigerator liner has a crack on the left side and the right side underneath large deli crisper drawer. Remove drawer applied white RTV silicone to both of the liner cracks. Inspected icemaker which customer said was not working ice bucket is completely full. Fans are running and no excess frost buildup, unit is operating properly. Took pictures of liner cracked edge to get on file if it progresses and gets any worse Frigidaire may need to be called. At this time the cracks are not hindering performance or causing an issue.

Inspected unit and found the wire harness connected to the fuse and the element has been damaged, made adjustments to the harness and changed both fuses. Ran a test cycle and the unit heated and ran for roughly 10 minutes kicking the heating element on and off. All checks ok.
