"Customer states that unit is stinking and clean washer cycle wont work correctly. Gives H2O error when running clean cycle. Checked control for error codes and found vent damper errors. No other error codes. Forced damper open and it operates but is very noisy. This is why the unit stinks. It cannot vent properly when cycle is complete. Ran self clean cycle and unit would not fill. Valve is getting voltage but no water flow. Found supply shut off. Opened supply and unit filled. Customer uses tap cold for all other cycles so they never would see this error. Advised customer to run several cleaning cycles using Affresh cleaner and to cust down on the amount of soap. This will contribute to odors. Unit needs damper assembly, and main pcb. ; ordrng 1 WH16X29509 (Damper vent) and 1 WH22X35518 (PCB)"

Found F3E2 temp sensor open/shorted, F0E4 spin speed limited by temp, F6E4 communication error, and F6E3 communication error codes. Water lines are connected correctly. Temperature sensor is out of range causing F3E2 and F0E4 errors. Communication errors are due to corrosion. "Customer states that unit makes a thump sound when tumbling. Noise just started within this past week. Drum turns freely by hand. Ran unit to verify noise. Drum makes a thump thump when tumbling. Removed drum to inspect. All rollers spin freely, as does idler. Nothing loose. Added small amount of oil to rollers. Reassembled and ran to test. Noise is present still but quieter and does not affect operation. Pedestal was loose on the left side so tech secured it but noise still present. Changing parts would not solve noise. This is normal noises"
