"Unit is 4 years old in kitchen. Customer states that unit isnt filling with water and wont wash. F6E1 low/no water, F6E4 float switch stuck open. Inspected and found float switch stuck in the up position. This is why it wont fill. Unit ran through diagnostics test done. Unit has a tilt towards the front causing the water to settle in the front. Legs are adjusted as far up as they can go. Unit needs shimmed to level. Advised customer to have unit shimmed. This is an installation issue and not covered by warranty."

Customer states that unit is making a rattling noise from the rear. When they push on the unit the noise goes away. Force compressor and all fans on to test for noise. Noises coming from the rear by the condenser fan. Inspected unit and found condenser fan blades rubbing bracket. Bracket was being flexed by the suction lines pushing against it. Removed fan and adjusted suction lines. Reinstalled and noise is gone. Leveled unit as best as i could. Advised customer to shim under the front legs to level. All ok.

Inspected unit and found the drain hose not properly installed per manufacturers instructions. The drain hose should come up to the back of the unit for height before going back down to the drop down to allow for an air bubble in the drain line. If an air bubble is not creating the drain line create a vacuum in the drain cycle and siphon the water causing you to shut down the spin cycle. Made adjustments to the drain line. Ran a test cycle and found a large number of sites inside the unit even though we do not have any detergent. I advise the customer they can only use 2 tablespoons or less of HP detergent and they should use cleaning tablets on a regular basis to clean out the residual detergent left inside the unit. Residual detergent and oversuds can cause many issues with the unit. All other checks ok.

"Inspected unit, ran a spin cycle on low medium and high, unit ran through the cycles without any issues or abnormal vibrations. Checked water valves for leaks and found no issues. Inspected suspension springs and shocks and found and functioning properly with no abnormal wear and tear. Recalibrated the unit. Emptied the tub of water and checked the drain filter, found a small amount of gravel and sand in the filter and drain pump area, cleared the debris out. Advised the customer to use 2 tablespoons of HE detergent or less per the manufacturers guidelines. Made adjustments to the door boot and cleared detergent residue off of the door to prevent leaking. Ran another cycle and found no leaks or abnormal shaking. Advise the customer to run a couple cycles through and if the issue return to get a video recording of what cycle theyre doing and how it is responding and send it to 937-423-1723 or our office at 937-252-3200. All other checks ok."

Replaced fill tube and made sure waterline was tightly secure on it. Customer had taped excess supply waterline to the green waterline for the icemaker causing it to pull on it. Cut the tape and informed customer not to have it taped on that waterline and it was fine free hanging. Advised customer to defrost freezer for 24 to 48 hours. Inspected unit and found fan not making any noise. Customer showed me a video of the sound they were hearing which was fan hitting ice. Removed evaporator cover and found large block of ice around incoming refrigerant lines as well as into the fan housing. When defrosted I found a large spiderweb of cracks along the inner liner. Informed customer that this happens due to the constant heating and cooling of the refrigerator. I explained that this was not a repairable problem. Sealed up with Perma gum. Told customers that what I have done was the best that I could do and if this continues to happen they would need to replace the unit.

Installed new control board then started to give L2 error for low line voltage. Check voltage and ran all the tests in the service manual to attempt to find where the error and issue was. All voltage and continuity tests checked properly. Informed customer that there may be an issue with the board or with the UI. Customer stated he wanted time to think about any further repair.

Inspected unit and found large clump of ice on the back wall of the unit. This had caused the waterlines to freeze up. Removed ice and patched with foil tape. Wrapped waterlines in foil tape as well to insulate. Informed customer there were holes from rust in her back liner. This is not repairable.
