No squeak currently but getting a thumping noise from the left rear roller. Removed drum to inspect and found left rear roller shaft worn. This is also where the squealing noise was coming from. Right roller and idler are in good shape. Blower motor is as well to. Replaced roller shaft and cleared unit of lint. Ran to test. All OK no more noise. Inspected unit and found the fan sounding like it was hitting something but found the freezer not iced up or anything. Customer stated the freezer had iced up really badly then the fan started making the noise constantly. Found the fan blades hitting the bracket it sat in. Was able to adjust fan to spin correctly. Customer also had questions about ice maker but declined repair when gave him a quote.

Customer states that unit makes a rattling noise with about 9 minutes left in the cycle. Does this regardless of cycle selection or load size. Customer has video of noise. No error codes present in the system. No noise during spin or agitation. Inspected gear case. Unit has signs of oil leakage and endplay. Clutch assembly and motor look good. Ran rinse and spin cycle to duplicate noise. Drain pump makes some noise on start up but quiets down. Transmission has endplay that under a load causes the noise. Wash plate does not want to come off easily. Unit needs wash plate and your case assembly.; ordrng 1 W11393685 (Gear case) and 1 W10775188 (Wash plate)
