Remove agitator and clear debris out of underneath agitator. Tighten down agitator because it was slipping. Squealing noise is coming from the top seal of the transmission. Did inform rent a center of this issue. Only way to fix it is to replace the transmission. This is very intermittent maybe happens once every five or six loads and only last at the very beginning of the cycle.

"Inspected unit and could hear it making a loud screaming sound. Disassemble the unit and found all the rollers, pulley and belt appeared to be fine. Remove the drum and tested the motor. After about five or six minutes the motor started making a loud screaming sound. Provide a quote to customer and they stated they would let us know if they want to move forward with the repair or not."

"Customer recently moved into home. Unit is dispensing water ok, and making ice but not dispensing ice. Pulled out ice bucket noted some cubes appeared hollow, my guess probably due to water being shut off for a period of time, then the ice was all clumped together jamming it from dispensing. Showed customer, and dumped all ice to clear. Auger and solenoid working ok. Unit checks ok."
