"Upon arrival put unit into diagnostic mode. Found errors for locked rotor as well as miscommunication between UI and control board. Tried to put unit into an automatic cycle but unit would not let me. Got out of diagnostics and it would not allow me to go back in. Ran a drain and spin cycle and unit would spin up but it made a noise as if it was not spinning freely. After unit spun up I stopped cycle and put into diagnostics again but unit still would not let me run an automatic test. Discussed with customer the minimum repair for the errors being a motor, UI, and control board. Customer wants time to think on repair."

"Unit is still freezing items in the lower fresh food section. Checked for error codes. Found fresh food evaporator sensor error, and abnormal defrost errors. Removed evaporator over and found the evap temp sensor out of place, a clogged defrost drain, and the evaporator fan blowing air in the wrong direction. Fan was replaced by another service company. The fan was installed upside down. This is causing everything to freeze in the lower half and is causing the ice maker issues. It isnt getting cool enough to make ice from improper air flow. Installed fan correctly, reinstalled temp sensor to evaporator, and cleared defrost drain. Advised customer to let unit run for 48 hours and monitor the temp."

Upon arrival started a cycle to test airflow and the heating element. Both were good. Put unit into diagnostics and found an error code for a shorted or open exhaust thermistor as well as a line 2 voltage error. Found the voltage to the unit good. Ordering parts. ; rqstng P&A on 1 W11158453 (Control board) and 1 8577274 (Thermistor)
