Found sump with water in it but no debris. Cleared water. Verified that float switch is good. Ran unit to test with drain hose into bucket. Unit fills to proper level and drained out fine into bucket. No leaks either. Hooked drain hose back to garbage disposal and ran to test. Unit drained out fine with no issues or leaks. Suspect garbage disposal drain is sluggish causing water to back up and unit to not drain. Could not duplicate no drain or leak concern. Advised customer to have drains checked/cleared.

"Unit is 4 years old in laundry room. Customer stated that unit wont advance past rinse. Put unit into diagnostic to check for errors. F2E1 stuck button, and F7E1 basket speed fault errors present. Spin tub by hand and it is tight. Inspected gear case and motor. Motor pulley has been rubbing the cover underneath. This is why the tub is tight. Removed cover and belt to inspect. Found stator of motor loose and dropped down. Bearings in motor gave out and allowed stator to drop. Tub spins freely by hand now. Unit needs wash motor. Customer paid deductible to Sears already. Not updated in our system yet. Have screen shot of payment to Sears. Dont order until deductible is updated online by Sears. ; rqstng P&A on 1 W10889172 (Drive motor)"

Ran unit to test and unit climbed to well above set temp and did not cycle off. Removed console to inspect and found thermostat shorted causing run away heat.
