Ran a test cycle and the unit filled with water and found no leaks or H20 error code. Upon canceling the cycle the drain pump would not shut off. Connected the unit to the newfi and updated the firmware which is suppose to fix any bugs with the H20 error code. Ran multiple test cycles and the drain pump would not shutoff and start to fill with water. Reset the control and the same issue. Inspected the unit and found on high heat. The dryer only getting up to 75?. Reset the control board and ran another test cycle and is now getting up to 107? on high temperature. Found poor airflow to the exterior of the home. Ripped up about 40 or 50 small pieces of paper towel and placed into the blower housing wheel assembly and ran a five minute test cycle and found almost no debris on the roof from the vent line. Customer has a blocked vent and recommended the customer have vent cleaning company come out and clear the vent line from the roof down to the dryer.

Check unit over and found out the units would not drain. Attempted to clear the drain pump and there was debris down inside of the drain pump and it had burnt up the drain pump. Tested drain pump after clearing and still wouldnt drain needs new pump. Spoke with American shield and they will not cover the repair due to debris being down inside of it.

Inspected the unit and found an error code for LF which means low water flow to the unit. Removed the waterlines and found the hot water filter clogged with some black gunk. Removed filters and cleaned. Reassembled the unit and run a test with no other issues. Advise customer they may have an issue with their hot water line.

"Inspected unit and found the vent line bent substantially behind the unit causing poor airflow. Made adjustments to the vent line and cleaned out the blower housing wheel assembly, which had a large amount of lint buildup. Advised the customer they should resolve the issues, but if it continues, they will need to have their vent and exterior connection replaced to improve airflow."
