Checked unit over found that the microwave was functioning properly and the vent was working well. When the customer was using the oven burners the front door of the microwave in the handle itself would get extremely hot to the touch even while running the vent. The microwave is venting properly and functioning as designed. We believe due to the distance between the top of the oven and the microwave that the microwave is getting too hot to use. Our recommendation would be to put a shorter microwave in there or replace it with a hood vent.

Inspected unit and found the door squeaking when opening and closing. Also found drawer that hangs from the shelf was not properly hooked to the trim causing it to fall. Greased up door closers and properly adjusted the drawer and tray to hang without falling. Customer also had concerns about the temps in the freezer with the ice cream and I informed them of the temperature fluctuations at the front of the unit and advised on putting ice cream towards the back for more stable temps. All checks ok.

"Inspected unit and found compressor not running at all. Fans were running properly and lights were on. Attempted to unplug and plug the unit back in to get the compressor to start up. Could hear relay click but compressor would not start. Plugged unit into amp reader and put unit into diagnostic mode to turn compressor on manually. Unit would pull high amps and then shut down again. When feeling the compressor, it was incredibly hot. Talked with customer about sealed system repair and all that could happen with the repair. Customer wants time to think about repair and shop around."
