Inspected unit and found unit with dead control. Turned surface burner on and found the control would flash and act like it was working. Pulled unit out and looked at control board for any physical damage and found none. Checked terminal block and cord and found a bit of melting on the cord by the prongs. Tested cord for continuity on each leg and it was good. Checked voltage at the terminal block and found one leg with proper voltage but the other leg only had 80 or so volts. When turning on the surface burner again I heard crackling from the outlet. Showed customer and let her know that her outlet would need to be looked at by an electrician. Left unit unplugged due to the crackling noise and outlet being a potential fire hazard until repaired. Customer to call back if unit still has issues after outlet problem is addressed.

Entered diagnostics and found an error code for induction communication error, failed cooling fan, erratic touchpad, and failed display board. "Checked out the unit and found the unit not spinning as fast as it should, and having a lot of strain on the motor. Also found that the unit was not heating and had poor airflow getting through the unit. Due to the amount of lint and dog hair that has built up on the backside of the drum and inside the lint housing the unit would need a complete rebuild of the heat pump and several other parts to resolve the issue. The unit struggles to operate due to the extent of lent inside the unit.
