"Inspected the unit and found the light in the microwave flickering on and off due to the door not closing properly. Inspected the door and frame of the microwave and found the frame slightly warped and not letting the door close tightly. If you apply slight pressure to the door it will register as closed. Pressed on the door and ran a 1 minute cycle with a cup of hot water, the magnetron did not activate and the turntable would not activate. Ran a convect bake cycle on the microwave and it read roughly 255 degrees but the inside of the unit was not even 100 degrees. Ran a test cycle on the oven portion of the unit and the bake element would not heat, all heat came from the broil element. Provided information to the customer."

Inspected unit and found the water valve would leak even after being shut off by control board. This is either due to heavy build up in the valve itself or the solenoid not fully closing. Replaced water valve. Ran tests. All checks ok.

Inspected the unit and found the bake and broil element not functioning properly. Ran a test cycle and after about 5 or 10 minutes I could hear the control board kick off and stop turning the elements on. Found the vent fan making a loud noise and shutting off after a few minutes. Found the display board not responding from several buttons. Ordering parts. Tech recommends to replace the unit due to cost of repair and high risk for future issues due to age.
