Upon arrival customer stated that unit is leaking from the rear and the freezer door isnt closing all the way on the bottom. Leak is coming from the defrost drain pan. The pan was out of place and when unit defrosted it dripped past the pan. Secured pan in place and cleared defrost tube. Door isnt closing fully because it is warped. Unit is level left to right and has a slight tilt to the rear. Cam closer is in good shape. No damage to hinges. Freezer door needs replaced. Door is no longer available. Inspected unit and found thermal fuse shorted open. Replaced fuse with kit customer provided. Replaced terminal ends on thermal fuse because old ends showed signs of corrosion and overheating. Ran unit to test cycling temperature. Ran timed dry high heat and unit cycles between 132-175. Ran timed dry low heat and unit is cycling between 115-155. Both are within spec. Reconnected vent and checked temperature at exterior. Unit has good air flow and temperatures are good at exterior. Corroded/overheated terminals caused fuse to fail. Unit is operating as it should. All ok.

"Customer states that unit wouldnt complete the cycle. Showed it finished but clothes still wet. F8E1 long fill, F9E1 long drain errors present in diagnostics. Inspected water valve and found both hot and cold screens blocked with rust. This is why it has a long fill error. Nothing in pump or hose to cause slow drain. Unable to duplicate long drain. Unit wouldnt finish out cycle because of long fill errors. Ran rapid wash to test and it advances on fine through cycle with no problem. Please mail out receipt."

Installed wire ties to make sure the hose does not hit. Ran another test cycle and found no knocking or other issues. I did advise the customer that this brand and model is typically louder and vibrates more than other brands, however the unit is functioning as designed. Tested the thermistors and moisture sensors and they passed. I advised the customer to have the vent line professionally cleaned out to allow better airflow. All checks ok."

Because of this the entire outer tub with accessories and inner wash basket will need to be replaced along with the wash plate.
