Inspected unit and found the temperatures in the freezer section at an average of 0 degrees and temperatures in the fresh food section average of 60?. Could not determine if the fan is running in freshfood section. Found ice buildup on both evaporator covers and water in the bottom of both sections. The drain line is clogged for both sections. Pulled the unit forward and cleared drain line traps. Advise the customer they will need to run a 24 hour defrost cycle to clear the drain line before the unit can return to normal temps. All checks ok.

Inspected the unit and found water standing in the bottom upon arrival. Ran the unit through a drain. In which I could hear water trickling into the sink but I could tell the flow was restricted. Pulled unit out from under cabinet. And found the drain pump checked OK. Electronics checked OK. But I could not get any movement through the drain line. Drain line is clogged. Drain line goes behind several cabinets and ends down under the sink. Customer will need to get a plumber. To replace drain line. Unit checks OK

Upon arrival temperatures in the fridge section were around 50?. And 30? in the freezer. Customer pulled everything out of the fridge section in order for me to get to the back wall. Removed evaporator cover. And found a partial frost pattern. When putting the unit into diagnostics I was able to get a full frost pattern. Control board checked OK. Fan checked OK. Found that diagnostics kept glitching in and out. And that the compressor was not holding a cycle. All checks were pointing toward a bad wire harness. Unit is unrepairable. Called warranty company. Received authorization code 125DLDI for replacement.

Manually filled the unit to max capacity with water and ran a drain and spin cycle and found no leaks from the drain pump or drain hose, or pressure sensor line. Also found no leaks coming from the drain pump filter or door boot. I advise the customer the water could be coming from the steam release hose as it builds up steam and advised them to run a couple test cycles to see if thats whats causing the leak."

"Inspected the unit and found the control not opening the dispenser door while in diagnostic, also found an error code for stuck keypad and low water flow through the wash motor. Reset and reprogrammed the control board. Ran a diagnostic cycle and the unit filled with water, dispensed the pod, washed, drained, and activated the heating element. Advise the customer to use cleaning tablets every couple days on the unit until the water pressure and flow increases back to normal. All checks OK"

Installed parts and turned the unit on. It powered on for about three seconds and I could hear loud popping or arcing sound and the unit died. Inspected the back and found the control board dead. The unit has a short somewhere in the line that is destroying the control board. This is not a repairable issue. Notified Assurant and recommended they replace the unit.
