Customer states that when installing the new filter it will not lock into place. The filter housing is cooked directly to the main water supply. No water valve in between filter housing and supply line. Household pressure is very high. Filter is hard to insert due to high water pressure. No parts can be changed to lower the household water pressure. Partially closed supply valve to lessen the pressure. Filter is now staying in place. Advise customer to shut water off next time when replacing filter due to high pressure. After filter is locked in they can then turn the water back on and use as normal. All OK.

Inspected unit and found the washplate agitator stripped And freely spinning inside the basket. Attempted to remove the washplate and the bolt was stuck to the gearcase shaft and I could not remove it. Pulled the unit forward and inspected the underside of the unit and found the gearcase leaking grease all over the stator and rotor and the underside of the unit. The gearcase can leak grease if theres a fracture in the gearcase forcing grease out. This severe kind of damage on units we do not recommend repairing unit due to the cost of repair and High risk of complications. Tech recommends to replace the unit.
