Timer is loud enough you can hear it. Removed unit from defrost and compressor and condenser fan came on. Evaporator fan did not. Voltage to damper but no operation. Replaced fan and it is running as it should. Defrost timer is very noisy. Defrost circuit is good. Suspect defrost timer stuck and frost hold to defrost causing frost build up. Replaced timer. All ok. Advised customer that temps will be in range in 24 hours. ; used 1 241705102 (Defros timer) from stock

"Inspected the unit and found ice buildup behind the evaporator cover. Removed evaporator cover and found ice around the sealed system tubing coming in through the liner. Found the drain line frozen over as well. Cleared out ice from around the evaporator, cleaned out the drain line and ran water through the drain line with no issues. Fan and defrost heater working. Sealed around the sealed system tubing with permagum. Made adjustments to the drain line heater. Tested water valve to make sure did not leak. No leaks found. Found no cracking on the back linear. Sealed around the evaporator cover with food grade sealant to prevent warm air getting behind the evaporator. Advised the customer to monitor the water filter and deli drawer for water over the next seven days and call us if they have any issues. All checks OK"

"Inspected unit and found the wash plate stripped. Rotated the inner basket by hand and could hear a rumbling noise. Removed the washplate and screw. Attempted to removed the inner basket, it would not separate from the outer tub and gearcase. Inspected the underside of the unit and found a small amount of grease on the splotch kit. Job requires 2nd tech. Additional labor required. "Customer unit has never cooled from day one. Unit is plugged in and running, has lights, fans, compressor is hot to the touch. Temps reading outside air temps around 80F. Unit located in barn/shop. Unit is an R600 design and has a leak. Called Ge techline, I specifically asked if they repair these units he said yes. Case #06339604. Called and talked with Chris about it. "A few issues going on first the icemaker fill tube is frozen and causing the water to back up and run down behind evaporator cover and getting into the fan blade. Also noted the fill tube hopper for the icemaker is broken, will need replaced. The leds on the ui are going out. Also some of the shelf supports are pulling out and only thing we can do would be to try and glue back in place. ; ordrng 1 242058232 (User interface) and 1 5303918344 (Ice maker)"
