Also found some buildup on the drain pump filter. Cleaned out drain pump filter. Advised customer they should double the size of the loads they are currently washing and clean the drain pump filter about once a month. This is because the washer needs a certain amount of weight to balance itself in the spin cycle. Ran test cycles. All checks OK.

Inspected the unit and found the drum not turning once I start cycles activated. I could hear the motor activating at the drum not rotating. Remove the front panel and control board and lower panel and inspected the underside of the drum. Found a large amount of lint buildup on the control boards and pulley and wheels. Cleared off and found the belt had come off the pulley due to the pulley catching on part of the motor wiring harness. Made adjustments to the wiring harness and reset pulley and reconnected belt to the motor and pulley. Used wire ties to secure wire harnesses out of the way. Reassembled unit and run a test cycle. All checks OK.

Inspected unit and found a failed thermal fuse and cut off. Installed new thermal fuse and cut off as part warranty and ran a test cycle. Found a shorted heater. Provided information to customer and advise them that they have a short in the system which is causing the heating element to stay on which is taking out the fuses and eventually taking out the heating element. I advise the customer that would be in their best interest to replace the unit and they agreed. All checks OK; used 1 279816 pw (Thermostat) from stock

Inspected unit and found no error codes. Found the cold water valve partially shut. Opened valve and ran a diagnostics test. Cold and hot water valves are partially blocked but still running without any issues and putting out enough water flow from the unit to function. Often times the blockage will clear itself. Re-calibrated and reprogrammed board. Ran a manual and automatic test cycle and found no other issues. All checks OK. Advise the customer on the proper amount of detergent to use per manufacturer.
