"Installed parts and ran a test cycle, found an error code for water and ice dispenser. Checked wire harnesses at the top of the door and cabinet and found them shorted. Checked the line at the control board I was not getting a reading. The liner running through the cavity of the unit is shorted and is not repairable. Submitting info to homebuyers warranty. Customers complaint as it was not heating. Tested all fuses and heating element everything tested good. Found wire that had come loose from sensor connector. Checked wiring diagram and found that it was supposed to be connected to the black wire. Wrapped around black wire and inserted as wiring diagram described. Customer states that unit is leaking. Sees water in drip pan in the front of it. Removed top to inspect. Found cold water valve leaking from solenoid. Ran speed wash to check for other leaks. No other leaks present. No leaks from previous repairs. Unit needs cold water valve. Installed new valve and ran to test. Installed new clamp on rinse hose. Old clamp was worn and would not hold. Customer states that unit wont start. Just flashes and beeps. Unit is not sensing the door being shut. Door switch is good. No loose connections or shorts. No loose connections at the board. Board is not sensing door. Water in bottom is because the unit didnt finish the cycle. Cannot test other functions without replacing the control first. Nothing will activate through diagnostics with door open or not being sensed. Spoke with Joe and they are replacing the unit.

Inspected blower housing thermal fuse and found it shorted open. Replaced fuse and ran to test. Unit is heating and tumbling as it should.
